Giving Back We feel that our local Seattle community has given greatly to us just by supporting our business. In turn, we have chosen to focus our "giving back" to 2 local charities. About 3 times a year, Sue calls on Children's Hospital of Seattle to bring their large truck to her showroom and she loads them up with cases of product to be sold in their thrift stores. The product that is given to them is sold in Children's Hospital's 8 thrift stores and all the money made from the sales go directly to helping children receive the care they need but may not be able to afford.
The second organization Sue donates to is Seattle's Dress for Success. Sue donates leather goods such as handbags and briefcases that will compliment an outfit of a woman who is going to a job interview who may not be able to afford such accessories to match her business attire.
She donates these products without taking a tax deduction. She feels that when you give, you should not expect to receive. You give because you can. Currently Sue has donated over $120,000 in product that directly helps the Seattle area and she is thankful to all who have supported her and her business.
